EACH OF OUR THERAPIST HAS MET THE REQUIRED HOURS FOR EDUCATION AND IS A LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST WITH THE ARIZONA STATE BOARD OF MASSAGE THERAPY. ADDITIONALLY EACH ONE HAS UNDERGONE EXTENSIVE EXTRA TRAINING WITH OWNER, KRISTINA WULBERN AS WELL AS CONTINUING EDUCATION.  
​ALL OF OUR THERAPISTS ALSO MAINTAIN MEMBERSHIP WITH ASSOCIATED MASSAGE AND BODYWORK PROFESSIONALS, THE PREMIER PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MASSAGE THERAPISTS. OUR THERAPISTS DO THEIR BEST TO LISTEN AND FOLLOW THROUGH AND AREN'T AFRAID TO DIG IN WHEN NEEDED.  OF COURSE EACH OF OUR THERAPISTS HAS A UNIQUE APPROACH BUT WE STRIVE TO PROVIDE A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE NO MATTER WHICH THERAPIST YOU CHOOSE.

It has been my absolute pleasure to provide the community of Flagstaff with massage therapy for the last 32 years. ​I have learned through out my years of practice that each person on my table is unique with unique needs and I strive to meet those to the best of my ability and to help each person achieve a greater sense of themselves as whole, healthy human beings.

And now I am so pleased to be able to provide expanded services and offerings with a team of talented therapists in our new Wellness Clinic. A Wellness Clinic such as this has been my dream for years and it is such a joy to see it become a reality. I am passionate about offering many options for our community to achieve optimal health and well being and the new services we offer I feel align with that passion completely.

I was born and raised right here in Flagstaff and, since the age of 9, have received bodywork on a semi regular basis.  Since massage therapy was part of my upbringing, the experience of being on the table for so many years has given me a deep insight into the experience itself.

​I have found for myself and my clients that regular massage is a key on the path to wellness.  Your personal health journey is important to me, and I want to help you as best I can. Whether we have one session or multiple, I will make sure to care for you during your time with me. I  focus on the individual human in the room at the time of session and tune into what their body needs. 

I truly believe that every-body is different and my job is to help guide each body towards healing. The modalities with which I achieve this are deep tissue, Swedish massage, prenatal massage, cupping and hot stone, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage, in which I am nationally certified. I look forward to working with each of you who comes to our business!

I love helping people improve their health. Weather a work related issue, an athletic injury, dealing with chronic pain, or just wanting to relax I am passionate about helping people feel better. I am trained in deep tissue massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal, Cupping and Hot stone and enjoy using all of these tools to help clients feel better. 
An avid athlete myself (Karol has completed several Ironman competitions), I was drawn to massage after seeing many of my fellow athletes suffer from injuries. I found myself drawn to massage to help with these injuries and on the whole help people live better more comfortable lives
In my spare time, I am and athlete, a musician, a lover of fine food and am deeply devoted to my family. I look forward to working with you and helping you live better.

Yessica (Yessi) Hurtado

I was born in Maricopa County and was partly raised in Mexico, where my parents were born. I moved to Flagstaff for schooling in 2011 and have since decided to make it my forever home. I graduated from the Arizona School of Integrative Study in early 2022, where I fully dedicated myself to the incredible art of Massage Therapy and discovered its amazing benefits to the mind, body, and spirit. 

My passion for taking care of the aches and pains of the people around me - the ones inside and out - has been with me since I was young. I loved giving my family members massage but didn't realize it could be a serious career path until I was already committed to another career. But it kept calling and with COVID I decided to make the leap of faith and haven't looked back.

I like to help my clients strengthen the link between mind and body by encouraging them to listen to and “communicate” with their body using breath-work, stretching, body awareness, with a touch of warmth and love.

I’ve been a massage therapist for six years, and my passion for the field stems from my desire to help others. Massage therapy offers me a unique way to support people in overcoming pain and improving their well-being. I’m particularly focused on relieving chronic pain, such as frozen shoulders, sciatica, and other common issues. What I love most about massage is its holistic approach to healing, offering both physical and mental benefits to clients.

I approach massage with a medical mindset, grounded in my nursing studies, blended with holistic techniques. In a session with me, you can expect a deep tissue massage tailored to your needs, with elements of sports massage, trigger point therapy, joint mobility, and myofascial release. I specialize in deep tissue work, often using a slow, deliberate approach to allow your muscles to relax deeply and effectively.

​When I'm not massaging, you can find me practicing hot yoga, Pilates, or hiking, and of course, focusing on my nursing studies. I enjoy continuing to learn and grow, both in my career and in life.

I have always been interested in how the body works and  am passionate about helping people with my understanding of the body. I plan on developing my knowledge further by pursuing an education and then a career as an acupuncturist. 

I tailor each session to meet you where you are, ensuring a personalized experience that aligns with your needs in the moment. With a keen attention to detail, I focus on relieving tension, utilizing trigger point therapy to target those stubborn knots, while incorporating LomiLomi and Thai techniques to maintain a sense of deep relaxation. Whether you prefer light or deep pressure, I adjust to your comfort level for the best results.

I am a hard worker and I have always tried to put my best foot forward no matter what I set foot in.  But I still always try to stop and smell the roses. I love camping with friends in the summer and in the winter trying my hand at various projects like knitting, baking or sewing.

Every session with me is tailored to the client’s needs, whether they’re looking for gentle relaxation, targeted pain relief, or something in between. My goal is for every client to leave feeling lighter, looser, and more at ease—both physically and mentally. You can also expect a bubbly personality and a big smile!

When I’m not at Northern Arizona massage and wellness, I’m usually doing something arts and craftsy or outside enjoying nature! I love reading, spicy food and rewatching Lord of the rings. I'm always interested in hearing book or movie recommendations!

After graduation, I hope to one day open a bakery or coffee shop.  I also play on the NAU women's volleyball team. I am originally from Phoenix and enjoy baking, traveling, and watching movies in my free time.

I am a graduate student at NAU for speech language pathology, and I enjoy working at the front desk of Northern Arizona Massage and Wellness. As someone with chronic pain, I love getting to work somewhere that helps so many people feel better. When I am not at work or school, I love watching movies, caring for houseplants, and painting.

I'm a sophomore from NAU studying finance and financial planning. I'm originally from Tucson, but have fallen in love with Flagstaff's beautiful mountain community and the kindness of everyone I've met here. I love doing administrative work, but my favorite part of this job is seeing the pure joy and relaxation that shines from clients when they come to check out after their service. Outside of work and school, you can find me dancing, playing board games, and cooking delicious food to enjoy with friends.
