WHAT IS CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY: Hypnotherapy activates your natural healing process by mobilizing your subconscious mind. Hypnotherapy doesn’t do the healing, it is a technique that actives your own natural healing potential. Your subconscious knows better than anyone what the issue is and how to resolve it. Though you are coached through hypnotherapy sessions, all insights and guidance comes from the person who knows you best, YOU.
Hypnosis is just a state of deep yet alert relaxation similar to meditation. In this state, the conscious mind lets go of the drivers seat and the subconscious mind can be in charge of the dialogue. However with hypnosis there is a specific goal to be addressed that the subconscious mind is instructed to focus on. This helps people get to the root of their issues quickly as they are more susceptible to positive suggestions, more receptive to making transformations, and more capable of releasing old beliefs and programming that have been holding them back. These sessions are equally effective over Zoom as they are in person, as people feel comfortable and safe in their homes.

While Hypnotherapy is considered safe for most situations it is considered complementary and should not be used to replace medical intervention when needed.
WHAT TO EXPECT WITH CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY:
- The Initial Consultation Call: Wondering where to start? The first step is a free initial phone conversation. We’ll discuss the problem you want to solve, conflict to be resolved, the emotion you want to work through, and/or goals to be achieved, and determine if this is a good fit for you. There are no dumb questions, so ask away : ) We’ll schedule the first session at this time or if you would like, multiple appointments.
- Intake Forms: Once the first session is scheduled, I’ll email you two forms. One is an Intake Form, and the other is a Client Responsibility Agreement. Please print, fill out, sign and bring both to the first session. The Intake Form will be used to aid in serving you as the client. The Client Responsibility Agreement is for you to acknowledge your role in the transformative nature of this process. Your active participation during our sessions and completing your weekly accelerator exercises are necessary to increase your success in reaching your goals. By law, all information will be kept confidential within the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
- The first session is 90-Minutes: Wether online via Zoom or in person, at our first session we’ll discuss more about the issues you’ll be resolving in-depth or goal to achieve. We’ll also have time to discuss any other questions you might have. During the first session we’ll go through a very restful and relaxing cleansing and letting go technique to reset your nervous system. This will remove the heavy armor you may have been protecting yourself with. Then I’ll teach you an easy technique to use out in the real world to turn off the stress response and literally change your brain chemistry so you start creating oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine.
- Post session email: To help accelerate achieving your goal, I will send you an email with recordings for you to use during the week as well as notes from the session about the techniques you learned. Plus “homework” practices to work on every day to reinforce and strengthen the new positive and healthy neural pathways within your brain that you created during this session. The email will also contain all the session notes so you’ll remember all that we went over, as well as, a recording of the full session. I’ll also attach worksheets of various techniques to practice with before our next session.
- Daily Practice: Hypnotherapy is not unlike Physical Therapy… Physical Therapist prescribe “homework” in the form of exercises to do on a daily basis at home in order to accelerate healing. This is important for the injury to heal properly and for you to return to 100% mobility. Hypnotherapy works in the same way, in order to accelerate healing and goal achievement, and anchor new positive beliefs and programming you will need to spend time each day on “homework”. You will need to spend 15-20 minutes in self-hypnosis or listening to a hypnotherapy recording, twice a day if possible. It would also be helpful to write out your affirmations once a day in the morning or before going to bed and spending a few minutes twice a day reciting your affirmations out loud (which you could do in the car or at home behind closed doors for privacy).
- Follow Up Appointments: Research from the University College of London shows that it takes around 66 days to create a new habit within the subconscious mind; that’s 10 weeks (2.5 months) for your subconscious to lock down new behaviors, ideas, feelings, and beliefs so they become as automatic as tying your shoes or walking. Therefore if you want to create massive healing and profound change in your life I recommend scheduling 3 sessions the first month, one session the second month and then one session in the third month. So over the course of 10 weeks (2.5 months) 5 sessions.

- If doing and online session inform your family or housemates that you need uninterrupted time and make sure the area you will be occupying is free of distractions.
- Keep and open mind, let go of any expectations about what hypnosis “should” feel like; everyone experiences it differently.

In this introductory 45-minute hypnotherapy session you’ll experience deep relaxation to restore and rejuvenate the body and mind. You’ll learn simple and easy techniques to take back control of your nervous system, turn off the stress response and literally create the brain chemistry for calm, confidence and joy, as well as learn how to wire your brain for peace of mind and body. After your session, you will receive an email with the session notes, worksheets of the techniques you learned, and recordings to practice with at home. This session is specific for anxiety relief. This is your chance for personal transformation using the power of your subconscious mind.
Following a brief discussion to figure out which processes are best for your session and the issues you wish to address, your hypnotherapist will guide you into a deep state of relaxation from which you can access your subconscious mind and experience deep healing. After your session you will receive notes about your session, exercises to reinforce the phenomenal changes you have experienced and recordings to increase healing and strengthen the new neural pathways created by your session. Past Life Regression
The goal of delving into past lives is to discover what needs to be healed to move forward in your present life. Following a discussion to understand the issues that need to be addressed you will be guided through brief hypnotherapeutic process as a "warm up". This exercise primes your subconscious to receive the relevant information during the past life process and prepares you for the deep healing work. During the past life regression itself you will move through the events of the past life that are influencing this present life, and with those insights, the healing work can begin. All past life sessions are recorded with your permission and for your use only and you are welcome to video it on your phone for a lasting memento.
