Meet our Massage Therapists
Each of our therapist has met the required hours for education and is a Licensed Massage Therapist with the Arizona State Board of Massage Therapy. Additionally each one has undergone extensive extra training with Owner, Kristina Wulbern as well as completed CEU's. All of our therapists also maintain membership with Associated Massage and Bodywork Associates the premier Professional organization for Massage Therapists. Of course each of our therapists has a unique approach but we strive to provide a similar experience no matter which therapist you choose.
KRISTINA WULBERN, OWNER, LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST, REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER

It has been my absolute pleasure to provide the community of Flagstaff with massage therapy for the last 21 years. In 1992, I completed my training at the University of California, Santa Cruz, possibly the only public university in the country at the time with a Massage Therapy training program.
My studies included: Swedish Massage, Acupressure, Herbalism, and intensive Anatomy and Physiology. I continued my training after completing my certification with Deep Tissue, Prenatal, La Stone, Cranial Sacral, the Arvigo Techniques of Mayan Abdominal Massage, Myofascial Release, and Thai massage. And somewhere in there I also managed to squeeze in Yoga Instructor Training.
In my 29 years in this profession, I have had the good fortune of practicing massage in many settings and each has provided ample learning opportunities. I have also been a massage instructor and taught my techniques to hundreds of students. I have learned through out my years of practice that each person on my table is unique with unique needs and I strive to meet those to the best of my ability and to help each person achieve a greater sense of themselves as whole, healthy human beings. I look forward to working with you in this way.
"I've been a regular client of Kristina Wulbern for about 2 years, and have only wonderful things to say about her skill as a massage therapist, her professional manner, and the massage space. She is intuitive, an active listener, and very responsive. Her technique is just the right balance between effectiveness and gentleness--I never feel pain during a massage, but always feel healing. I'm 59 and have had hip replacement surgery and have fairly extensive arthritis and joint pain, and she has helped me greatly. Her space is beautiful and quiet, and there is always parking. On-line scheduling is such a convenience! Love her!" - Marcelle C.

TOSHA TERVO, LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Working in the community and helping others has been a long time passion of mine, I have always found joy in creating a positive influence for other people. I am thankful that at this point in my life, I have been given the opportunity to channel that passion into a career in massage therapy, here in our beautiful town of Flagstaff.
My graduation from the Arizona School of Integrative Studies provided me with instruction and guidance from many experienced and talented therapists. I was able to gain a much deeper understanding into human anatomy, spiritual diversity and how to facilitate healing in another person. My purpose is to share the knowledge and experience I have gained with as many people as possible. I specialize in applying techniques that focus on stress and tension relief, such as Swedish Relaxation, Hot Stone Therapy, Myofascial Cupping, Thermotherapy and Deep Tissue work. My goal is to provide a personalized, healing experience for my client. No two people are the same, therefore each of my massage sessions are uniquely fitted to each of my client’s needs.
"Just had my first massage from Tosha the other day. Highly recommend this massage facility! Simple and clean rooms. Tosha did a fantastic job on my neck, shoulders, and lower back. Highly recommend 👌" - Miguel L.

EMILY JOHNSON, LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Born and raised in Montana, I feel very connected to nature. I grew up as an athlete and outdoor enthusiast and continue to live an active lifestyle. I am passionate about helping others and feel very aligned with my chosen career as a massage therapist.
It is my belief that a healthy mind and spirit are dependent on a healthy body. Each of us has a unique body with its own story. I intend to provide attention and presence in each session, addressing the specific needs of each client. I consider it my job to guide each client on the path to their own healing and help to create a sense of body awareness. It is my goal to help others achieve their optimum potential.
I graduated from Arizona School of Integrative Studies where I was introduced to many modalities. Of particular interest are deep tissue, Connective tissue, Thai massage and craniosacral work and I intend to further my education in these areas. I continuously strive to expand my knowledge and skills. I am thrilled to join the team at NAZMT and excited to be living my dream as a massage therapist.
